Sunny Days Again!

With the return of the sun for a whole day we actually made it out and enjoyed it! Our first pumpkin is already off the vine so now we are trying to determine what to do with it since we don't have a root cellar to keep it in until Halloween.

Daddy Sandwich!

One little Moon & Stars watermelon that we found hiding out in the corn patch. The boys check on it's progress frequently as they have been devouring at least 1 a week for the past month. Thankfully they got in free to the Shelbyville Horse show's dinner buffet this last week because all they would eat was plate after plate of watermelon!

Little farmer boy. : )

Brock in front of the festive curling ribbon staked tomatoes. We like to be just a little bit different in our gardening approach.

Aidan on his pumpkin. Not quite big enough for him to sit in this year! : (

Yea!!! A volunteer sunflower! John hired a young kid to help out weed eating and he whacked down all of my mexican torch and teddy bear sunflowers. I held my tongue but was vvvveeeerrrryyyyy disappointed!

Looking for bugs.

Posing by the pumpkin.

Our baby. . . Sorry
John and Sparky. Sparky had to share his paddock this afternoon so that we could see how Curtis was going to be when we turned him out.

"I'm free!!! Now let me see how much grass I can stuff in my mouth during the next hour!"

Three little horse trainers admiring their stock.

The End
